Submissions are now open for the 2025 Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition. This annual show presents 100 works of art from professional and emerging Black artists from across the United States, as well as works by Black teen artists from the Chicagoland area, all as part of the Museum’s 55th annual Black Creativity Program.

SpaceX Dragon Capsule on View May 19

NEWLY RENOVATED HENRY CROWN SPACE CENTER

CHICAGO – The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft acquired by the Museum of Science and Industry in 2022 will go on display at MSI on May 19, 2024, in a new exhibit specifically designed to showcase the spacecraft’s journey and impact. The exhibit will be part of the Museum’s renovated Henry Crown Space Center, which reopens May 19. Both spaces will deliver MSI guests the latest information on space exploration and what new and old space missions have taught us about the universe around us.

Stan's Celebrated St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day in Chicago..what comes to mind...The Green Chicago River, crowded restaurants, wanna-be young whipper-snappers "trying" to keep their liquor down...basically amateur night/day depending on when it falls.
