St. Patrick's Day in Chicago..what comes to mind...The Green Chicago River, crowded restaurants, wanna-be young whipper-snappers "trying" to keep their liquor down...basically amateur night/day depending on when it falls.
This basically is similar to my New Year's night ritual of not going out on that night either with so many amateurs running around making it not fun and dangerous.
But anyway...here I am with my #StansDonuts for the day of celebration and the same day I voted for the primary.
These were special donuts created just for the say, so I was lucky to gate my hands on them. the best feature was that they had green coloring of the cake inside with the one on the left.
This last pic is from the Stans Donuts from the Museum of Science and Industry. This was unique as it was a combination of a donut and and Oreo cookie with green creme filling. Tasty, but a little messy.
