C2E2: My 2024 Schedule

What is C2E2 you say? Well to steal from from the Choose Chicago website: "Pop culture fans, assemble! The 2024 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) is around the corner. Now in its 14th year, this year’s convention will have no shortage of cosplaying, celebrity sightings, panels, and activities. Whether you’re a C2E2 newcomer or a seasoned cosplaying veteran, preparing for the weekend’s festivities is the best way to make the most of the event."

It's been quite a few years since I was at the last C2E2, and from my records, it was 2016! There was a year that I found out too late that they had scheduled the original crew of Star Trek (Original Series) but I was much too late to know about that and could not go at that point. Besides, if you did not go on that Friday of the event...that was it, you would not see them together on stage all weekend. Ah well.

But here we are, 2024, four years after COVID and the con is in full swing this year. Granted, I go for the celebs that show up; and THEN the cosplayers! But how can you now show up for the 45th anniversary of Alien and meet Tom Skerritt and Veronica Cartwright (sister to Penny, Lost in Space) and meet up with Doc Brown himself, Christopher Lloyd in what may be one of his last outings!

I am supplying a schedule below for my historical records and to show you how intense this can be. They majority of Friday may not happen after 7pm, but Saturday is going to be a very long day. And those cheap bast**** at the hotel don't have special con prices, otherwise I could had considered a Saturday night stay.
