2023 Field Museum Member's Night

This year, the Chicago Field Museum held their annual Member's Night over two days from April 20-April 21. If you were lucky enough to be a member or knew someone that was, you got to roam the museum and also check out behind-the-scenes areas.

This is a great birthday treat. Although it was not my birthday (they gave me two of these as credits to  my account for previous poor service), this is a fun dessert for 3 to 4 people, definitely.

Retro Fan: January 2023, #24

Came across this nifty little magazine at Barnes + Noble at Old Orchard Shopping Mall in Skokie, IL. It is exactly what you might think, they are going back in time and writing articles, interviewing people from days past. A very nice magazine. Wish I cam across this sooner.

Macy's Walnut Room / Christmas Holiday 2022

The Christmas holiday was special this year as my work gave us a full week off the final week after Christmas and before New Years. It was well deserved and I needed very badly as up that point it had been crazy right after I came back from my first real vacation to California in October.
